Free Book. Thomas Gray: A Life in Letters, Bill Roberts, Northern Academic Press 2016, ISBN , 09528103-3-9
This book was produced for the tercentenary of Thomas Gray’s birth in 2016 , an event which the literary world omitted to celebrate. As a result the author wishes to dispose of a number of free copies (hard back and soft back). These are free to anyone who writes to Dr Bill Roberts: firstname.lastname@example.org (Ingleside, Kirkoswald, Penrith, CA10 1EW) and encloses (optional) two first class stamps (£1.52) towards return postage. The hardback edition (15 copies available) is illustrated and runs to 180 pages; the soft-back edition (55 copies available) is not illustrated and runs to 150 pages. The book is structured around extracts from 25 of Gray’s letters, plus editorial comment and brief notes on salient features of Gray’s life. The book is thus both biography and anthology .
